Kirro Palm Tungsten E GPS interface

Does anyone have the PalmOne Tungsten E navigation package from Kirro or Michelin Mapsonic ?

I'd like to know how the GPS serial data is transferred to the Palm Tungsten E

It appears from the pictures that it is connected through the mini USB port on the bottom of the Palm, but it could be connected via Infra Red via the IrDA port.... (This seems unlikely as the mapsonic demo doesn't seem to have the option of connecting a GPS via IR?)

I'd really like to make up a cable to use my exsisting GPS to trial the Mapsonic demo on a Tungsten E

No idea how to do that
Kirrio provides special cable that connects mini USB on the side of Palm to the PS2 intrface from GPS
This interface is the simplified USB HOST done for Tungsten E Serial profile I expect.
You have to buy this kind of device.
Unfortunally do not know where.
Also this device is not universal converter say for any kind of serial input to Tungsten but only for this application.
This device probably will not work with othe PDA's but only ones from Palm that use the same USB profile

so there is no simple solution for you
