Updated My XXL

My XXL has been struggling, with the increasing size of the Europe map and my Map Updates Service was coming to an end
I was considering upgrading to possibly a 6200 or ??.....
But, seem to see mostly poor reviews on the newer stuff
Live traffic might be useful
But, decided to go for just West Europe for my XXL, 6 mths deal
Not cheap, but, still, its, NAV2 - home updates etc
Long live NAV2
The XXL is slow and under-powered, but, works

I think you have chosen well (provided, which we assume) it's still supported by TT see https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/obsolete-products/

in which case take advantage of the current discounts on offer:
SUMMER2018 gives you 30% discount on a single map, or 40% discount on a 12 or 18 month subscription

PS please DO check your device Serial No compatibility right at the bottom of each mapshop page BEFORE paying as the silly idiots WILL take your money & only when you try to install (in an End-Of-life device) THEN tell you it's not possible & you have to jump through hoops to get a refund!!!!

I said 6mths I meant and should have said 6 maps - 18mths

Oh yes its supported, you enter your fist two letters of your serial number to check on the map you want

I did use that SUMMER2018 code, but it only gave me about 5% off

It seems like if you buy the package 18 month map AND 12 month speedcams then you do only get a very ungenerous discount so why not just get the map & use speedcams from here (or have a moan at TT suppoprt and see if they can be more generous https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/travel-lounge-154/customer-support-phone-numbers-988105
