|
|
So, the trusty MaFtMobile (2006 Focus) is reaching the end of it's life - engine etc is mostly OK but the body is getting more and more rust (needed to tape over some sharp edges to get it through it's MOT - wasn't worth spending £400 on replacing the whole wing when the car is worth about £500-£700 max).
I've always had Fords and fine them reliable and cheap to maintain however, I've seen a Vauxhall Zafira Tourers that pretty much ticks all the boxes - but I've not had Vauxhall before and don't know anyone with one...
So, does anyone here have a 2013 (ish) Zafira Tourer that could give me a few things to look out for? Are they reliable? Cheap/expensive to maintain? Any particular things I should avoid?
Thanks in advance!

Check 1, has it had the official heater controller fix that stops it catching fire. _________________ DashCam:

Thanks guys, not something I'd been aware of. Looking at this though it doesn't affect this model:

Quote: | The problem only affects Zafiras from 2005 to 2014 with manual air-conditioning. So if you own a Mk1 Zafira, the current Tourer or any model with auto climate control, you’re in the clear. |
It's the Tourer I'm looking at and is full climate control rather than manual air-con. |
