|
|
I'm about to leave for a 2 week trip with the TT.
I've had it for 5 weeks or so without any trouble, however, today I tried to switch on and found the battery down, when I put it in the cradle all the data had been lost and I've had to reload.
So, my concern is it might happen again whilst away. To counter this I wonder if it's possible to load the TT stuff onto a CF card.
Any idea's anyone?
Thanks, BJ Nottingham UK

It is not recommended to store TT3 on a storage card (apart from the maps), but you can buy a programme called "sprite backup", this will create a complete backup of your iPAQ onto a storage card which can then be restored at any time.

iPAQ Backup is actually an old version of Sprite Backup - though the full version is highly recommended. If you have an iPAQ with iPAQ Backup built in, there's a very low cost upgrade to Sprite Backup Premium Edition (I think US$10 plus 17.5% VAT, assuming you're in the UK).
