I have camera alert on my LG G4, for about 3 weeks now it keeps crashing on startup. I've tried deleting data, transferring to the SD card and uninstalling/reinstalling the app. No Joy. I get the complete voice message that I'm not using the latest database and please update after a brief flash of the start page which then disappears to be replaced by "unfortunately, Camera Alert has stopped. I've reported this with system logs a number of times but no feedback yet - can anyone offer advice please.

Hmm... Odd one. I'd normally say make sure it's installed on actual internal memory but looks like you've already tried that anyway.
Have you submitted the crash logs?

Do the logs get read ?
I submitted the logs, more than once, from my HTC m7 about 4 years ago when it used to freeze after half an hours use - and never heard a thing. _________________ DashCam:

Yes, they do. Don't generally get replied to though.

I have sent a few , just sent another one, from alistair763@gmail. I've tried both internal and external memory with the same result.

I note the phone is using Android v6.0.
Looks like it's back to an old problem and discussion.

Hi, MaFt, the app worked perfectly well recently, its only the last few weeks I've had the crash problem. As a lifetime member I'm reluctant to loose what I consider to be a very good app. I would appreciate it if you could review the crash log.
