When planning a route on a GO 5200, can anyone suggest how to include a 'via' location in the route?
This used to be possible on my old One XL, but now seems to be impossible.
I would appreciate any advice please?

Hi badsworth,
Caveat: I don't have a TomTom GO 5200, although I do have TomTom GO Mobile iOS on my iPhone. The following is taken from the online manual:
Adding a stop to your route using the map
1. Press the switch view button to show the map. Your complete route is shown on the map.
2. Zoom in on the map, then press and hold to select a location.
3. Select the pop-up menu button.
4. Select Use in Route.
5. Select Add to Current Route. Your route is recalculated to include your stop.
Have a look at the online manual for adding a stop to your route using the map.
That does seem pretty useless to search for a location on a map. Even the (currently) undeveloped TomTom GO Mobile iOS allows you to add a built-in POI or address to the route:
Menu | Current Route | Add stop to Route | Search (addresses / POIs / Contacts)

Another method is to prepare your route, simple A to B.
Next, tap to start the menu again and select Current Route, then select Add Stop to Route. _________________ Dennis
