garmin nuvi 760

my garmin nuvi 760 seems to be acting up,quite often having difficullty in locating satellite,and when it eventually does seems to wander off road and lags behind.very frustrating...anyone having the same bother.have tried different cards,re downloaded software,re loaded map and nothing seems to change,anyone any ideas

Have you tried a master reset?

Do you wait for a satellite lock before you drive off?

no not tried master reset,will do that when I get home.

yes always wait till satellite locks in,,,,,,,have sat for 10 mins + numerous times

tried the reset,sat nav still veers off road and still lags behind and tries to re-calculate.

I'd give Garmin a call since something is wrong. If still within warranty they'll replace it.

hi,
no its well out of warranty,and probably not worth sending away to garmin.it was an expensive one at the time and has worked well in the past,alas its given up.
