Doing my weekly update and discover that both Mapshare and now Quick GPSfix are not installing. My device (GO 1005) says "Something has gone wrong; check your computer for details".
Allied to the fact that my Live services expire at the end of this month and will cost £47.50 I'm kind of feeling that maybe now is the time to jump ship and sail over to Garmin (free lifetime services and map upgrades). |

Although I've not had any problems with GPSfix on my 1005, I received an email from TomTom today (on all 3 of my accounts!) saying that there is an "important update" available.
It goes on to say:
"We have recently released an important free update for your personal navigation device. You are receiving this email as a complementary part of your service with us, letting you know it's time to update.
This update allows you to plan routes faster by letting your device find your location within seconds, so you can set off on your journey quickly and arrive at your destination feeling more relaxed.
Please connect your device to your computer as soon as possible to install the new update. Visit our support website for help with downloading and installing this update on your device."
Unfortunately I've been able to get MyDrive Connect to connect to TomTom yet, but I guess that may be because world + dog are busy downloading the fix. _________________ Philip |

Yeah, me too. Unable to connect to MyDrive Connect; asking for pasword then doing nothing, so I thought, okay I'll pretend I've forgotten my password. No response from TomTom since 10 o'clock this morning. I'll keep trying. |

The MyDrive login is now working.
I had problems with this earlier on but I've just updated Quick GPSFix without problems, after logging in. _________________ Tomtom GO550 Live 9.430 UK & Ireland 895.4438
