Hi,

[ Apologies if this is an old question ]

Got TTN3 and pretty chuffed with it running on my old IPAQ 3660 with an Emtac Jacket + 256Mb CF.

However I've noticed a few oddities with map data and wondered how you can either fix them yourself or report them to the data provider. If I take the second option how quickly do these get reflected in updates to the software or is this years away. Examples include the wrong county for my road, missing roundabouts and going "left" at a roundabout for the 4th exit (A34/M4 J13)... could be interesting!

Finally, any idea what would be the best mount for this setup in my BMW Mini? The jacket gets a good signal without being too close to the windscreen!

Thanks
Ian

You can't fix them yourself, and reporting them to the data provider may take some time in getting a response. I've reported several data errors to TeleAtlas, which you can do here but having just checked the status of an item I reported on May 25th, it is still "under analysis". I can't understand it - TeleAtlas are getting free information and can't get off their backsides to check it out. Evil or Very Mad

Anyway, I use Navman software and my brief from them is this.

POI errors and street errors (one way, blocked to road users, etc.) go to TeleAtlas and routing errors not caused by the above go to Navman. Navman do pass on POI etc. errors but by cutting out the middle man you are cutting down on Navman's workload thereby allowing them to get on with sorting out their own bugs and getting the data to the 'owner' more quickly, not that they appear to be in a hurry to do anything with it.
