I've got an EMTAC jacket that I bought bundled with CoPilot 3.5 in Dec'02.

I'm trying to get it to work with an application called Navio from www.tinystocks.com without much success.

I've configured it to COM6, 4800, None, 8, 1 which I think is correct for my iPAQ 3970 but the receiver is sending nothing to the app.

(apologies if this is a stupid question - I'm no expert in all this stuff)

John

I've got the TomTom Driver (2.07) downloaded from your excellent site and it works fine (configured to Pocket CoPilot GPS Jacket and CoPilot iJacket_GPS) but neither this Navio application nor Crux II GPS View (V1.7.5) get anything no matter how I try to set them..... Confused

Lutz,

** CORRECTION ** Crux View is now working - so it's just the pesky Navio app. thats still giving me a problem.

Sorry for giving you duff info and thanks v much for taking the time to look at this.

Sorry, but I have to confirm that the Navio app doesn't play with the jacket. If you have paid for it already, make sure they fix that or get your money back...

Thanks again for trying.

BTW - I'd avoid anything made by tinystocks.com in the future, their online "support" appears to be handled by some chippy berk who is abrupt and abusive (quite entertaining really).
