Hi all,

I've been tasked at work to find a device, one that I just know you lot here will be able to help me find, now if I say first money is no object it'll get the ball rolling,

My boss wants, in a single device, a device that will,

Take photos,
record a GPS location,
be able to email both of the above to any address whils stood in the middle of a field....

No small task,

I was looking at an XDA2, but I can't find a jacket that say's it'll fit, the only thing I can find with all 3 is the motorola A920/925, but the GPS software is almost unuseable, and to be able to give this to one of our field reps would be nigh on imposible.

Please help,

Damski

Hi.

Why not use a SmartPhone?

You can use it for GPS, send/ receive e-mail and take photos all on one device!

Just the job for your requirements.

are there other smartphones with GPS built in other than the A920 / 925? I thouight they were the only ones, as it is they have aGPS, 'a' being assisted, they use cell info from the 3 mobile network to assist in triangulation.

If there is another one then please do tell as it'll forfill my bill perfectly.
