Just bought a new Tomtom GO 500 yesterday. I thought I done my homework but just seen the PGPS cameras will not work on them. Is this true. If so is there going to be an update soon so we can add the cameras to these devices. I will really miss the cameras from here.... _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

I'm afraid that this is true. However, the problem is not with PGPSW, but with TomTom - the software on the new devices does not allow any third party POIs to be added to the devices.
TomTom have indicated that there would be an update to the software to permit this, but that was quite a while ago! _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

I am surprised at this as a lot of people are then restricted to what they can add to it. It is great when you are navigating but there is a lot it doesn't do compared to my others I have had. TBH I am not that impressed with it after my first drive out today but will keep open minded with it and see how it is after a week or two..... _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

When it was announced in April last year (2013) I asked them about support for 3rd party POIs - the response was "it's something they're working on". They're either dragging their heals now or they simply don't want to admit that they've decided not to bother...
