I've updated to the latest Camera Database again, but I can't see Camera 162355 on the SPECS50 ov2 file. Being a frequent M1-er that's currently the start camera for the SPECS just before you approach junction 36 at Barnsley (Southbound). I can see the camera on your online map.. but it doesn't appear on my TT.
Is it missing from the file or is it just me being a durrr?
Many thanks

I have it in my latest download.
Which download did you download? Consolidated, Speedzoned, or the MyTomTom Zip. _________________ Richard

Speed zoned Complete
Just had another look at the online map and it has Camera 161934 (the next one down, just after Junction 36 travelling south) as the Start camera. |

161934 is the Start camera for the Southbound slip road.
162355 is in all versions of the Specs files I've downloaded. Can you see any Specs 50 on that stretch of road? _________________ Richard

Hmmm, the first one I see on my TT heading south after J37 is the one on the slip road at J36 and then the end camera further down. I'll try downloading again. |

Do you have any software that can open the OV2 file itself? It will be in the file but there may just be an issue with it not showing on your tomtom.

I downloaded the latest ov2's and checked the specs50's using poiedit ..and of course it was there, so I re-installed them all again, and my missing specs now appears.
The only thing I can think of was that I might have missed out the specs50 ov2 file when I last updated, as that camera wasn't on the update before last.
Serves me right for using IE9 to update the ov2's individually instead of saving time with chrome or firefox.
Thanks anyway chaps.. lesson learnt. |

See the Download Page under TT Nav3 devices, and Here. _________________ Richard

Cheers Richard. The only reason I've shied away from doing it that way is because in the past whenever I've fiddled about with POI's using Community Content too much it's ended up reseting all my warnings and home/favourites etc.. and redoing all that is far more of a pain than just whacking in 33 ov2's individually.
When I'm feeling brave I'll give the zipped way a go. |
