Recently bought a Philips CED780.
Tried to use Igo 8 software without any luck.
Anyone know of any working releases?
Preferably with Postcode searches.

Thanks

Is there a link or website for the Igo software so we can see what you have?

I am ideally after a compatible newer version.
Preferably including full postcode search.

naviextras.com states the latest release is 2013 Q2 or Q3 (depending on map) and that's what they are offering, how much newer do you want than the latest release?

Can you please explain what you are trying to achieve.

You have said the you have "tried iGO8 without any luck" and in your next post you say "iGO Primo". Are you saying that neither of these run on your device, or either/or one of them does? There is no point in looking for maps if they don't run. I do note, however, that you have not said specifically that you are looking for newer maps but a "newer version". If neither iGO8 or iGO Primo runs, are you looking for a newer iGO software that will run, or different software that will run. If the former, then if 8 or Primo do not run, even if there were a 'newer version', it too would probably not run.

Both the iGOs that you mention have 7 digit UK postcode search.

Please clarify.

I am looking to update the software on my device.
It currently runs igo primo (win ce). Im not sure of the software version.
I want to know which if any other/later versions of the igo software will work on my device.

The current version on my device doesnt have postcode search.

Primo does have a 7 digit postcode search. It's Find address - Tap Town. Enter postcode with space Tap Select town if you don't know the house number. That's in version 8.5.11.55851 Aug 2010.

To find version number. Menu More. right arrow Help. About.

Also, what makes you want to update it when you don't know what version it is and whether there is a later version or not?

Where did you get Igo 8 from? Perhaps we can find the version for you?

Paul. He has said that he has iGO Primo several times now. Both iGO8 and Primo have 7 digit postcode search. So it would appear that he either has a cud down version, or hasn't found out how to use it. You have to put the postcode into the Town field, which is not particularly intuitive.
