Hi - recently bought a Mazda with built in TomTom. According to the manual I can get one free map update within 60 days of purchasing the vehicle. I picket the car up on 19/06, ie 58 days ago - but TomTom Home is saying 'Sorry, it's been longer than 90 days since you first used your device and this service is no longer available for you'! I can still update the maps (if I pay), however I'd quite like to update for free first. Anyone know how to resolve this?

You've left it very late, haven't you. I'm assuming you bought the vehicle brand new, not second hand or preregistered (the 60 days offer wouldn't apply to those).

I'm guessing somebody has already fired up the system on your car, triggering some sort of registration date for it.

You will need to contact TomTom (by phone, the email/help system on their website is remote control) and prove you didn't take delivery until 19th June - I suggest you scan the invoice, or whatever you have which proves 19th June, so that you can send TT a copy.

Of course, you can't contact TT now until Monday morning, so the 60 days is dangerously close!

Yes, it is a bit late - it's my wife's car, she uses it for business most evenings and weekends. My other problem is the car will be abroad from tomorrow, will contact the dealer this morning and see if they can help, I suspect its been activated on a test drive.
