another newbie here,
i just received the Sysonchip CF v2 receiver with Destinator v3. with ipaq 2215
i'm having problems holding and getting a fix in NYC.
i would take it for half a block and nothing will show up. is my receivr faultly? are my setting right? HELPPP

right its brand new then it could take a while best bet is to turn it on and leave it on for a bit say 30mins then ttfs (time to first fix) should be quicker

Thank you for your reply.
I try to get a fix in the downtown area. near wall street.. i can't even get a fix. (thought i might try it in a populated area with alot of building.) my pda also crashes on me now and then. when it doesn't it loses a fix, i don't know if my receiver has anything to do with it.. but i'll try leaving in on for 30 minutes and see if the results are the same.
