I have just brought a 1005M and want to transfer my favourites from the old to the new TomTom.
I cannot find the file for the favourites on the 750, can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Favourites are not saved in their own file but are part of the general mapsettings.cfg file.
Personally, I would make a POI category up called Favourites and make a POI at each point. You will then have a ov2 file like the cameras.
I use favourites for a couple of regular locations that are also in POI categories and temporary places for that day.
PS, I deleted the duplicate post - no need to have it in two places.

Thanks for the reply.
I assume there is no way to get the exact locations from the Favourites on my Go 750 Live.
I have tried TomTom Content Transfer Assistant but it does not appear to work from a Go 750 Live. |

As GerryC suggests, on your old TT make a new POI folder called "MyOldFavourites" or call it anything else as you wish.
Still on your Old TT , Tap Screen ---, BrowseMap ---, Find---, Favourite. Select the TOP Favourite, Tap The Blue/Grey four-leaf-clover icon---, AddAsPoi,---, and select "MyOldFavourites" or the POI Folder that you previously made in step 1) above.
Repeat for every Favourite you have. Save the "MyOldFavourites" POI Folder and copy it across to your new TT. |

Thanks for your reply with detailed instructions, it was much appreciated.
I understood GerryC's reply but you gave a detailed method of completing what I wanted to undertake. |
