Hi once again.
Now that I have my head around this new Garmin or at least most of it; clearly there are sections that I will never use.
Does anyone know if it is possible to delete off the unit such as 'Restaurants' or the 'Shopping' categories.
I wonder why the logic in some of these designer's eyes is to have a unit that will cover or try to cover every possible thing that every possibly person could want....I really am too old for this modern word.
Many thanks to Pocket GPS world and you guys who KNOW what you are doing with these machines.
Regards
Revlew. |

Further to the above.
I could not get Ash10's Camera manager to work on my Windows 7 64bit machine, It simply flashes up and off but them tries to link with Garmin's POI Loader so I'm unable to even look at settings etc, even with XPsp3 box ticked.
But I have found the CSV to GPI converter very smooth and just the ticket. Thanks guys...sorry can't remember your handles.
Best regards

Afraid you can't delete POI categories that are part of the map database, as the restaurants and shopping will be |

You can't delete them as such but you can set preferences for which ones you want to display - the 2012 models introduced this functionality. ie you can swap restaurants for ATMs etc... _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70
