Igo8 custom icons

Can sombody tell me simply where the downloaded .bmp icons go in igo8 so that they appear on the list of icons on poi editor. I've put the poi's in without a problem. ther are many posts about custom icons, but nothing simple

Thanks for the help, I've put the icons in a usericon file as suggested, but they still dont show on the poi manager listing, stil only got the blue default icons. Any further suggestions would be welcome.

Look in your CONTENT/USERDATA/USERICON for BMP's
and make sure they are showing correctly.

Should be 24x24 BMP icons. Having said that Embarassed

I've just checked mine and it shows the Blue bubble icon in both the list and on the route. Never noticed that before.

There must be a reason why the Usericons aren't showing. I'll have a 'dig' arouind and see what I can find.

I've checked the bmps are in the usericon file, they are all there, they just dont appear on the pam or any of the poi listings, just those annoying blue icons !!!
I noticed the new custom poi's had the default google earth icon on the listing and the manage poi menue. I've deleted the kmlpoi earth logo and now can allocate the right blue icon to them.

Sorry for taking your time, I also spent ages palying around last night.

Any help you can provide to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
