Hi there,
The following works for me after a hard reset and reinstall of TomTom, to set things up and check them step-by-step.
1. Turn Holux GR-230 GPS unit on and wait till its LEDs show it has a good fix
2. Start Bluetooth Manager and create a connection to the Holux GR-230
3. Run GPS app (Start - Settings - System - GPS), untick box, change settings to NMEA 0183v2 9600 and Bluetooth Serial Port COM8:, then tick box again
I can now see live GPS position, satellite fix, etc. in the GPS app.
So I can now close that, then start TomTom, select Holux at Bluetooth Browser, and off I go.
This has worked first time for me both times I've done it, so hopefully will either work for you too, or help to locate the problem. _________________ Barry Davies
Thanks for your help, seems much better now!
I am from Denmark and the weather is horrible, and i have just tried it inside the house for now, so hopefully it will be just great in the car...
