it might be worth checking out http://www.satnav-discounts.co.uk/tomtom-go/tomtom-refurbs.htm
this web site shows the cheapest prices for new and refurb units
you can get a refurb tomtom go 750 direct from tomtom which includes 12months live services for £111.20* inc. P&P
I managed to back a brand new GO 950 for £90 through this web site. |

Weep. Condolences. For my money the 700 was the best PND they have made.
Beware that the refurb units are suppose to be as new, but the maps won't be up to date and the battery could be dying - my first refurb 550 had a completely dead battery.
In my opinion you might just as we'll buy a new latest model (note - new models introduced last week). Not because they may be great, but simply because the "reliable" units are no longer obtainable! I'd happily pay top dollar for a brand new unused GO700. _________________ Dennis

Try a replacement battery first.
TT's can look like they have died totally if the battery is the dead component, even if it will not start when plugged into a charger, it's still probably the battery. |

I've picked up a couple of cheap, but reliable TT700's of ebay. I've run one since they first came out and it's still going strong Now also used by wife, daughter, sister .... those all came from ebay .. Take your time, read the descriptions carefully and don't overbid ... some good deals are available if you look long enough.. |
