Alternative to TomTom ?

As the comparison thread seems a little old I though I would post a question separately.

I'm looking for an IOS app for my iPhone 4s as backup to my TT 940 live unit. What I'm after is primarily the ability to use my own custom POIs either created separately on my PC (using GSAK) or updated through the ios app.

The obvious alternative is the TT software (now at v1.13) which has recently been fixed to use custom POIs via DiskAid but doesn't appear to be able to update on the device. Is there anything else that has this functionality or is it a case of the TT app or nothing ?

The Sygic app specifically allows 3rd party POIs along with warnings - see install details here: http://www.sygic.com/poi

The other option is to use our mobile POI site (http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/mobilepoi) which allows you to search nearby or also for a specific location. Once you locate where you want to go you can then tap links to open the location in various iOS navigation apps. So you get the POIs live from our database and don't have to mess about installing them.
