Well I've had the unit just 2 months and yesterday it was unable to locate itself - stuck on the "Caluculating Route" message. I tried disconnecting the power a few times and reconnecting after 10 mins but this did not help.As far as I can tell, it can "see" the satellites as the green bars in "GPS status" are lighting up and changing as I move - but it can't find where it is, and then hence no route given.I have also tried putting in different routes but still no luck.Anyone please help. I emailed Navman today 7 hours ago but they havn't replied.I also have an extra memory card installed. Can anyone tell me what to try ? Thanks all. |

I haven't experienced your specific problem - and I may be teaching your grandmother to suck eggs, but - when you go to the maps section are they listed - and I guess on the same note, can you see a map when it powers up? Mine defaults to my home when searching? _________________ Mark

The answer is 42. Now what is the question? |

A map appears very briefly when starting - but then very quickly goes to me default home page, same as yours.
I can see the maps listed. To make sure, I reinstalled all the maps today. |
