Dear Dave
I just have bought a GR-230 that I intend to use with my Palm powered Sony Clie TH55. I also have acquired the Fugawi software. Unfortunately I cannot make it all work together. According to the leds, the GR-230 seems to work fine and have a fix. My Palm detects the bluetooth device but it seems that I do not get any communication. At least Fugawi does not get any info from the GPS. Do you have any idea where the problem can comes from. I am a little bit disappointed that the small programme provided by Holux (GPSViewer) does work only for Pocket PC and not for Palm. This would have give me the possibility to test at least the reception of GPS info.
It seems to me that you are focusing much more on Pocket PC than Palm, and the review might be not so valid for Palm powered PDA.
Looking forward for your answer.
Best regards
eguex

P.S. I appreciate very much your very complete reports and I like to visit your website.

I haven't used Fugawi on the Palm, so unfortunately won't be able to help much here. What you need to do is bond between the Palm and GPS, and enter the passkey code for the GR-230. If you haven't tried this you'll need to do this within your system settings and under the Bluetooth option and discover.
