Also a problem I have picked up . if you go from the m1 to Grimsby on certain parts of the route on the m18 , on the 1000 where it tells you how far to the next junction, (the middle window) this is missing . |

Losing Local Search with Google and replacing it with the far inferior TomTom Live Services is yet another nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. |

Just tried to do a local search for where i was going using tomtom search. No results found. Tried using my mobile and google search found it. Next navigate to using google maps on my phone. The google search on tomtom was very good and i did use it when out and about but not impressed so far with new offering. |

Am also devastated they've removed Google, one of my favorite extra bits. Saved me the time of getting the iphone out to do a google.
I have only used the TT search engine to find a couple of Hotels, but that's really simple stuff.
It's really annoying that stuff gets downspec'd without notice it seems. _________________ Tom Tom 1005 v2 World, Garmin Dakota 20, IPhone 4S |
