How to install a skin - help and guidance needed!!

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out here, so please forgive my ignorance.
I've found a couple of website for iGO software and want to download a skin, however once i've download the zip file and put it in my route folder do i just leave there or unzip it, and if so where do i place the unzipped software.

I've made a copy of my original software so if i screw up i can start again but i just want to learn about installing new skins or a night/day scheme.

Also if anyone can let me have some links for other iGO software website that they think might help it would be appreciated

The unzipped skin goes into iGO8\Content\Skins folder. To select it it's MENU ~ SETTINGS ~ MENU ~ SKIN. The skin will only show up in the list if it supports the resolution of your device.

The .zip file may be further zipped or RARed for download, and you need to unzip the zip file from the downloaded zip or RAR file, but do not unzip to the two folders and info.ini files.

There are a few websites that Google will find for you and some of them tend only to deal with legal development stuff. I'll leave it up to you to find them.
