Hi guys, am in the market for a replacement nav, currently have iq routes edition but it's far too small these days, (think my eyes are going) i had a built in tomtom in my van but now i've damaged the van, i'm no longer worthy of a new vehicle and i've been given an older beast instead.....
It's been a while since i last looked at a new nav, think it was 2009 when i got the iq routes one...i read with interest about the dumbed down menu on the newer flavours, am considering a start 20 or a via 120, not bothered about too many bells and whistles as long as i can hunt out my delivery destinations.... your excellent advise would be appreciated as always...
ps...budget £100ish, voice commands (if it's any good?)
Regards

Thanks Andy, i'll have a read, currently doing some homework on the two for comparison/spec etc....don't think i can go wrong with either tho', as long as i can install pgps database and latest map guarantee which is something TomTom used to do and i'm assuming still do...

Just wanted to give an update, i'm quite suprised at the lack of interest in this post as i thought it would have sparked more interest.
I decided to buy a TT Via 130 (uk maps) direct from them, priced at £130 got £8voucher code and 8.8% cash back with top cashback, also TT are offering £20 off next fuel fill up which totals to roughly £90 for the unit.
I connected to Mytomtom which has proved to be ok but i did prefer Home.
I updated the map from Jan to April 2012 and will be able to update again within 3 months to the latest map which is all i'll need.
Tried their built in speedcams.................. how sad and poorly inaccurate they proved to be and totally untrustworthy.....
Had the unhappy task of installing pocketgps database (1 at a time) which was extremely painful to say the least, then read that it can be done painlessly with 1 zip file....oops....installed my own poi's too with no probs..
I've used the nav for 2 days now and covered 340 miles and i can say i'm really happy now i'm familliar with it. A feature i really like is the unit switches off each time i turn off the engine and switches back on when i get back in and turn on ignition, also the integrated mount is excellent too.
If anyone wants to ask a question about the Via 130 then feel free.
All the best
