Downloaded the new version today.
Is it OK. I have just checked latest reviews (always do before I download an update) and there are lots saying that they can no longer use the app after update. Not good if that is correct. _________________ Peter

Update worked fine for me (app and map) on Samsung Galaxy Note ICS
However, while quite nice to look at and some nice features, still cannot compete with core navigation of a PND

Works OK on my Galaxy s3. Update a pain as I had to go through filling in serial number etc again.
Can you explain more about what you mean by 'core navigation'. Routing? I have to say I found it 'iffy' when trying to get around unfamiliar-to-me central Oxford, taking me unnecessarily by devious back streets, one with a locked gate at the far end.
As always, we have to use sense and following road signs got me to where I wanted - not Sygic!
