And the second question I have is, .... even though I've hit the 'Exit' application button, it still seems to be running in the background somewhere as it is draining the battery..... is there something else I can do to actually stop it...thanks. |

I asked Sygic for a refund (which they gave promptly) because on my Google Nexus 7 android tablet, Sygic was draining the battery even while charging, after about 4 hours of navigation. Obviously this is slightly different to your background running issue, but it does seem to be power hungry. I got OSM+ instead, cheaper and works better.
I was using Sygic Western Europe which I bought in May this year, so a recent version. |
