Basic GPS questions.

Hi all,

I have a Dell Axim X5 and have just bought TomTom Navigator 3 and a Haicom 303 GPS mouse / Compact flash receiver. Firstly I hope what I have bought is okay!

Here is what I hope to do :-

a) use it in car for getting around a-b. I think tomTom can do this quite well and if I get some freeware from this site I should be able to detect speed cameras and also be able to use postcodes better. I've seen a few bits of software on this site that do these things. Can anyone tell me which would work best with my Pocket PC 2002 OS?

b) I'd like to be able to use it for country walks etc. Do I just need to get some different maps? Sorry if its a daft question I'm very new to this.... Some sort of digital ordnance survey?

c) I'd like to know how far I have travelled in miles when on foot and also when in car. Can I get software to do this or can TomTom do the car bit and I just need something for the "great outdoors"?

d) Can I get some software that tells me how fast I am going? I guess this is part of Tomtom? But what about on foot, or have I got it wrong about Tomtom too!

e) lastly :-) Again can I get some simple software that just tells me my coordinates so I can check where I am on a real map?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just very keen to get going when the gps and tomtom come tomorrow.
