Haicom 204s Power light?

Hi guys,

Have recently purchased an iPAQ 2210 with tomtom3 and the HI204s reciever. I've been having trouble setting up the GPS and when searching through your posts I've noticed others with similar problems. However Im not sure if the unit even works, is the power light (on the haicom GPS) supposed to come on as soon as the unit is plugged in? As it has not come on at all. Tomtom and the ipaq seem to work perfectly but they just sit there saying 'GPS is unreliable'. I dont want to ring handtec saying the units if i've missed something relativly simple. Have I missed something or is my reciever duff?
