I am getting a bit long in the tooth for this (near 70) so I am sorry if this is a dumb question. I have just started Anquet. I have got their OMN on my PC and have purchased some maps. I then got the beta version of the Android App. For the life of me, I cannot see how you send the route created on the PC to the Android! Can anyone help sort me out please?
Many thanks

Not sure I can be of any help!
Being an Anquet user from the off a user of and Version 1 (superb) and then "upgraded" to Anquet 6. I downloaded the "free" version of OMN and signed up to Beta test the Android app. I found OMN to be no different or any better than version 6 and was not going to spend £50 to convert my maps to it just to cloud sync instead of plugging in my GPS to pick the route(s) I want on it.
I played with Android app until a couple of weeks ago and at the point you could not "Cloud" sync your routes and I lost the will to play with it any longer. Cloud sync may very well be fixed in latest beta version but the link to find out which I bookmarked to there Community Support Page does not work now. I cannot find a link to it from the Anquet Website.
Hope you have not spent to much money?
Regards

Many thanks for the help. So, do you think that the best that I can do is to save a route as a gpx or similar and then find some way to get it to my Android is the only way to go?

That may work if!! You can send a file (GPX) from OMN to a Android. You will be able to send to a GPS (I use Garmin GPSmap 60Csx) but can you to an Android? I think not.
You must get on to Anquet Support. Tell them your problem and ask them where you can get latest updates for android OMN in the future. The latest Beta on there old Forum site was beta 20. That forum site stopped getting posts on 29th March!! They moved to the Community Support Site which seems to have gone.

I can see the problem. Thanks Alan. I will see if there is way that I can chase Anquet.

Actually Alan, I have fiddled about and got this all working now. But I am looking for a follow route option. Also there is a large yellow circle around my gps position. Much too large to be of any use. |

This beta for android is working well now. Only needs a tracking facility and it will be spot on. |
