Hi all
Just wondering if some one tried to use PGPSW cameras on just released TT iphone app 1.10?
I am unable to use the camera file (speed zone), although I have tried to do exactly as the link on these forums described.
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com//modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=85133&start=0
I have in fact been using PGPSW cameras in app 1.9 successfully but this updated file is causing problem. I can, however, add and use my favourite file, which sits in the map folder. It is just the camera files, icons and ogg files which are not working.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Within the TT app go to Navigate To/ POI scroll through the list and can you see the PGPSW camera POI files in the list, if not re-load them to the correct folder along with the ogg sound files as the new app will have removed the old files.
If you can see the POI files listed when you try Navigate To/ POI then make sure the mapsettings.cfg file is in the correct folder as it is easy to get this wrong, it doesn't live in the main map folder on the iPhone app, also when adding the ammended mapsettings file make sure the TomTom app isn't running in the background or the new file will be overwritten (and lost) after you add it - Mike |

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply
No, Navigate To POI does not show the PGPSW files.
I have reloaded them but no luck.
Interestingly, in POI type, I can see some other icons which I downloaded from PGPSW like McDonald's, Motorway. What I cannot see there are the camera icons.
I am using Diskaid and iphone 4 and when I open the Map folder, I can see all the PGPSW camera icons (specific to iphone4), ogg and ov2 files.
I have copied the Mapsetting file in this folder
Documents and then UK and Ireland..folder
The camera files are in the other UK and Ireland ....folder.
I even tried two map settings files, one I was using with app 1.9 and one which I had originally copied from PGPSW site and followed your instructions exactly.
And I did comprehensively shut the app in iphone and it was definitely not running in background when I put the PGPSW files.

Possibly too many POI files in the map folder then, this used to be the main issue in the early days with PDA's and PND's never seen it hit iPhone though but then again I don't install much above the camera files - Mike |
