Guys
On the 1000 are you meant to get an audible warning if device finds an alternative route due to traffic? I have set up to be asked if I want the new riute but today all I got was a box at top of screen saying alternative route. My old 750 warned me verbally that a alternative route has been found and I was asked if I wanted to take that route. This is how I would like the 1000 to repond so is it possible?
Thanks
Mick

If there is a SUBSTANTIALLY better route found (say more than a couple of minutes) then you should still get the full screen and verbal messages that you are used to, and the chance to say yes or no by voice control (if you have it switched on).
This additional message at the top of the screen for short delays doesn't seem to be working properly yet... All you can do is tap it - which ACCEPTS the new route, or ignore it - which means the bar sits there for the whole of the rest of the route.
There should be an extra screen which shows BOTH routes and allows you to choose between them. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
