|
|
Help, just upgraded to a new machine "windows 7 64 Bit" and I can't get Ash's Camera Manger to start. I've logged into pocketgpsworld using IE, no problems and turned off the protection mode as well. Rebooted...
Right click on camera manager and run as administrator windows just thinks about running it and then nothing, checked task manager and it's not running....
Even gone into properties of camera manger and set to run as administrator and also tried compatability mode as windows 7, still nothing.
Deleted the poi folder and recreated, still no luck
I know somebody will have the answer, tried searching the forum but now got square eyes from looking. |

Right click the .exe file, click on 'properties' then select the 'compatibility' tab. There you'll find the Compatibility Mode that Paul mentions

Just because it didn't work in Windows 7 Compatibilty mode doesnt mean it won't work in Windows XP SP3 Compatibilty mode.
I have a couple of old program's that work fine in XP SP3 Compatibility Mode under Windows 7 that don't work otherwise.
There is a method to my madness!!!! |

Well, I'll wash my mouth with carbolic soap, and accept a smart kick in the bum. How do you get the XP comp mode? |

Tried all the methods mentioned and got no where, even turned off Norton etc.
Last ditch effort download the latest beta and it ran no problems so went back into my emails and download the last stable release, and it runs ok.
Looks like in copying files across the network it got corrupted.
Arr back to a file format I like.
Thanks to everybody who help |
