cant install skins box greyed out

hi i am trying to install some extra skins on my nav n go 8...8.3.5.1 800x480 ,but the box is grayed out ,what can i do been trying for days now,do i need a specific skin [although there were skins in the skin folder]

You need skins that support 800x480 otherwise the won't show, and that would be my guess at what's wrong.
To check, look in the skin at the file called info.ini in the root folder. Open it in Notepad (assumig a Windows PC) and check the available resolutions.

yes you were right ,it was full of non 800x480 skins,now my problem starts finding the correct skins,i have searched and searched thanks again

I have this skin running fine on a 800x400 resolution.
