|
|
Started on Friday in Essex/Kent area, blue bar appears on right side of screen, spinning circle appears, then either circle keeps spinning for duration of journey or yellow triangle appears.
Seems to be reports from others on Tom Tom's own forums, so I assume yet more server problems or some such at their end again.
Has this been caused by them trying to change the range of the traffic information back again? |

I thought it was just me!
I had the exact same problem up in the NE Scotland, had no HD traffic for 99% of the day, I was worried that the ToTom was faulty and ended up resetting it to no avail.
Started working again on Saturday.
This morning it shows I am connected to the network but I have the yellow triangle and "Warning - Could not establish a wireless data connection"! What a pain for those of us that rely heavily on this service.
Reading the forum, TomTom say they are having "some challenges with the LIVE services in all areas" See http://discussions.tomtom.com/t5/LIVE-Services-HD-Traffic-and/Server-Error/td-p/87741/page/2

Tom Tom have actually posted on their own forums now, that they are having "challenges" with their Live Services.
In English that means its broken! |

I’ve had no HD traffic since last Thursday evening (08/09/11), I was beginning to think that it was my TT750 that was playing up, especially this morning when one of the error messages I got was ‘No Data Services Available’.
For most of the journey this morning (200 miles) I could connect to the TomTom server so weather was available but no traffic
Is it worth contacting TomTom support as I’m paying for this service and not getting it _________________ TomTom GO720 and TomTom GO750

I always think it is worth logging a report of a problem with Tom Tom support, just so they are aware of the number of people affected, however don't expect anything other than the standard response, that will involve blaming your unit and suggesting factory resets, clear flash etc |

I travelled from Southport to Stoke Friday morning and back again Saturday afternoon and had HD Traffic both ways but when tried to use Google local search that wasn't working it seems that TomTom rarely get it all working at the same time |

Traffic was working OK Thursday morning when I drove from Chesterfield to Rochester and yesterday afternoon when I drove back via the M1/M25/A2. Only glitch was a reluctance to reconnect after emerging from the Dartford Tunnel but that's 'normal'. |

I have intermittent no Live services since last thursday.
A hard reboot of my GO 1000 always seems to fix it though. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Still having a mixed time with HD traffic. This is on a Via Live 120.
No traffic Monday morning (8am) Reading area (spinning cog) but traffic on the way home at 6pm. This morning (8am) traffic was working Reading - Heathrow but none on the way back (spinning cog again). |

In Cardiff this morning I was unable to get any Live Services, checking Network status said "Connecting" but it didn't. Having said that my HTC phone could also not connect to the Mobile Internet so maybe it's not all TomTom's fault. I did read somewhere that there were sunspots or sun flares expected which could intermittently knock out internet this year. |
