Any Vehicle Location Services add ons yet?

Just an idea/idle question.......

Now that we have Traffic on our PDAs requiring an active Internet connection through GPRS, wouldn't it be relatively easy to have vehicle location services on TT3? Does anyone yet, or is planning to, produce this sort of application using the SDK?

I would envisage that 2 or more users would be able to see friends/colleagues locations as well as their own on the TT Map or Navigator displays. I guess the locations could also be reported back to a PC Mapping application if it that supported external data inputs.

I'm sure there would be a market for this type of add-on for any company managing fleet vehicles or taxis etc...... or in fact any situation where someone calls you up to say "Where are you?" on a regular basis, apart from the wife of course!

this kind of thing is already available through your mobile phone also i think its destinator that has tracking via a scure website
