|
|
After paying my sub renewal in February I decided this would maybe be the last year of CamerAlert for me and discontinued the PayPal standing order - If I changed my mind I could always re-instate it ..or so I thought. I have not since been able to open the app without it crashing! I've tried removing and reinstalling and have twice forwarded my crash logs to Mike with no reply.
I'm now getting a little annoyed at not having the app available after paying the subscription fee.
So any help on this would be greatly appreciated or I think a refund is in order.
Thanks. _________________ iPhone 12 Pro

What device are you using? What Version of iOS? Is it jailbroken?

Hi MaFt, Thanks for the reply
It's an iPhone 4 and yes it's jailbroken. It's currently running iOS4.3.3, but the issue has stuck with me for the last 2 or 3 versions, and I'm almost certain other jailbroken users don't have this issue - so I kind of ruled that out as the cause??? _________________ iPhone 12 Pro

This could be the same problem I had.

The problem was with some corruption affecting the app still residing on my Iphone and I needed a complete reinstall of the apple operating system. Deleting the app and reinstalling, updating to a newer version or reinstalling from a backup was no good.
I had to reinstall the OS as a new phone & since doing that I have had no issues. |

I maybe will have to restore as new, but not just yet.
Thanks again. _________________ iPhone 12 Pro

My google maps continued to work throughout the issues I had, the only app not to work at first was camera alert.
Then as I updated tom tom it stopped working, if tom tom is not working on your iPhone as well it's a good chance you have an issue with the OS like mine rather than 2 individual apps having separate problems. |
