Got it and thought I'd check if it allows more than one via. Y-E-S, at last, now FOUR can be added.

HOWEVER, totally useless as via's more than approx 50 miles away from your position don't show.

e.g. Medway to Cardiff shows only ONE rest area on route...Clacket's Lane and furthest PGPSW Gatso shown is at 46.6 miles

Well done TomTom, looks like it's back to my Trusty iGO8.

The same stupid 'horizon' as the traffic applies to the waypoints then, as it does POI's

One step forward, three steps back.

Taken from the TomTom website for the new update.

· Speed cameras
For the first time, LIVE devices will now also (next to the mobile speed camera locations) receive fixed speed camera location updates over the air, sent directly to the device.

· Add personal content
Devices will have the ability to install new splash screens, community voices, car icons, warning sounds and community color schemes (this is already possible for devices in Europe which have the latest device software 10.200 installed).

· Multiple destinations along your route
The update will provide you with the ability to plan a route, adding up to four destinations (waypoints) along your route, using the ‘Travel via’ feature in the device menu.

· Device location search enhancements
TomTom Places will be added (in Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark and Germany) to enhance the search possibilities on the device, complementing Google Local Search.

Other improvements
· Device stability has been improved, which will help eliminate reboots that some customers have been reporting.

But possibly not needed for naav until you are within a few hundred yards of them anyway. But why do they suppress the display of them when they are on the device and not subject to download bandwidth?
Back to iGO seems a good idea. Shame about no live updates though Sad

I was happy to see.

"Speed cameras

As it means i will always get the up to date fixed locations when i'm working away from home. No need to connect to the computer.

I think the new navcore has also made the real time screen display whilst navigating more smooth. I did a 60 mile journey yesterday and noticed the screen refresh rate was better, not as jerky.
