XXL reboots when looking for postcodes

Hav an XXL with all the latest maps, software, home etc but since I put the latest map on (Western europe zone) when I select navigate to -- postcodes it hangs for a bit then reboots. Had 840 postcodes so downloaded the latest but device still reboots, any ideas?
In fact just tried navigate to -- address and that reboots as well, works ok with navigate to -- point on map

What contries flag is showing top right as you go through Navigate To/ Address/ Postcode is it UK, blank or something else?

The only time I have seen this behaviour before was last year and I couldn't change the country selection on the device without using TomTom Home and the emulator which did let me change the country flag to UK and stopped the device rebooting - Mike

As per the thread you linked to I used the operate my go from home and the postcode area was at Gibraltar!!!!
changed to UK and all is fine now. This problem only occured after I purchased and installed the latest maps as mine where about 18 months out of date.
