Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a bit of advice. I have a tomtom 520 with western europe maps and the fm transmitter which is great for playing mp3's through the car radio ( i have a Peak 8gb card installed) it works great but am wondering if there is now a newer faster better model to be upgrading to?? or do i stay with the 520.
Any advice much appreciated. |

There are no current TomTom models with an mp3 player at all, I'm afraid.
The last was the Go940, which was a great device and about the most fully specced of them all - Full LIVE Services, mp3 player, FM transmitter, Bluetooth handsfree AND audio transfer to a suitable car radio (much beter quality than the FM). |

thanks Andy_P,
The 940 does'nt seem to be for sale anywhere though.
I can see the 740 is availble but is it specced the same as the 940 (expect maps obviously) and does it have a better ability to lock onto satellites than the 520 what i have experienced with the 520 is that it is slow sometimes especially when abroad.
thanks |
