Hmm, I was thinking today can tomtom3 keep a log of the total mileage for the day? Or would you suggest an extrernal program like that Travel-iPro? Shame it's not built into tomtom3 would be a nice feature (maybe it is, just wiped PDA and not ahd chance to reinstall tomtom) |

TomTom doesn't care about total mileage. You could leave the log process running all the time, but this will quickly eat up all your memory. Can't you use the mileage counter in your car? _________________ Lutz

I had wondered about asking Jo to consider implementing such 'trip computer' functions in GPSAssist 2 - I don't have a great deal of use for them (especially as my car has a trip computer), but I can appreciate that some people do.

It would be really usefull for me to able to export my total mileage - or even between trips for the day into a spreadsheet.
I currently do this 'manually' using the car trip meter but having it all taken care off via my pda would be ideal. |

David,
with the Routes functionality coming on a trip computer could be one of the future features.
Cheers,
Jo. |
