I have just contacted tom tom about upgraded maps for the Truck SD card and here is the reply...
Thank you for contacting TomTom Business Support.
Further to your mail requesting information on how to update your Truck Navigation SD card, unfortunately there is no update service available for Maps sold on SD Cards.
Should you want to have a more recent version of the Truck Navigation on SD card then you will have contact your retailer.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us at :
+44 (0) 207 255 9788
Please make sure you have your incident number and/or RMA number at hand.
With kind regards,
Kathrina
TomTom Business Support.
So you spend £150 on the truck maps and no aftercare - the WORST service possible!
I will pursue it with them but really wouldnt advise ANYONE to buy one as it stands! |

I know that was an old post but wonder if there was any further info, can't believe there would not be any updates for the maps.... I had considered buying but at £150 (which I never had at the time) glad I never.
Oooo my 100th post! _________________ Regards Steve :-) |

I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like TomTom support was saying "there is no map update service for the truck maps". That's a very different thing from saying there are no updated truck maps. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Yes but I think it is the £150 a time, that is being complained about when it's so much cheaper for non truck users. |
