hi guys, just been browsing though tomtom, and cant find the Via route option, does it have one?

say i want to go to birmingham, but like to go via the m6 motorway, can i specify that in tomtom?

cos when i put in the destination postcode, it sends me through 'A' Roads. Iknow the 'a' roads might be a quicker, but rather go on the motorway,

any ideas?

the onlything i can think of is getting to the m6 motorway and setting there destination from there?

thanks!

I have the same problem with TT3, I would like to know whether there is a way for instance to go to Birmingham via Swindon from London.

Yes, there is an Itinery mode which enables it to have as many intermediate points as you want. That's one of the few new features in TTN3

The itinery veiw seems not to be highlighted even though its been allowed in the options. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

When you open TomTom, tap top left of screen and it's in the drop-down menu

i think if you prefer motorway driving you can lower the speed settings for A roads. TT will then calculate the motorway as the best route. for those who hate motorwas drop the speeds of the motorways and you can sit behind caravans on A roads till your hearts content (only Jokin all you 'vaner's)
