Hi Again,
Can anyone tell me what these files are that are in my Map folder.. CA****
I am assuming they are POI from Tom Tom..?
Are they wasting my POI Limit?
Also I can't open with POI edit?
Thanks... _________________ TTG 720

Ah, they're MapShare data files. You will have subscribed to receive MapShare updates at some point. _________________ Darren Griffin |

If you want MapShare then you need them but if not delete them. Even if subscribed to MapShare, they'll just re-download again - no danger. _________________ Darren Griffin |

CAxxxx.ov2 files are downloaded MapShare updates for POIs (as opposed to mapping corrections).
These went missing from the Mapshare downloads for ages but havereappeared fairly recently. You only get the ones for categories you've ticked to receive in Home's preferences (in Tools / Mapshare / Mapshare preferences / select POI categories tab).
If you find any PAxxxx.ov2 files on your machine; those are POI corrections that YOU have made, which then get uploaded via Home if you have opted to share them. |
