Was it another dubious one with question/answers like:
what do you think of our service?
a) excellent
b) very good
c) good
so that when they publish results they can legally say that 100% of those asked thought their services were at least 'good'...

Of course they take notice!
They always send these out when they want to test the 'Delete' key on their computers! _________________ David |

No, it's not the usual good/very good/excellent?
I've got two (so far - probably another half a dozen to go) and he's right, it does take ages - I think it forecast about 10 minutes, woefully short (so I'll not be completing more than one - I was tempted to record all my bad answers to make sure I give the same ones each time, but I just don't have the time at my age!). You will be comforted to know that TT still are unchanged - the last page displays "Click here to close this window" and when you click, of course, it doesn't close the window!
The thrust of it seems to be a possibly genuine attempt to get feedback on the live services (one of the emails was to my Go700!!). But I have to say my least favourite parts were a couple of lists, one of 5 and one of 15 items to be placed in sequence of first to last importance and it won't let you not place them all. As usual, I felt some concern that answers might be interpreted as favouring some features even though they get poor comments. _________________ Dennis

Just completed mine and i didn't get any questions like that.
I do have to say it did seem like a genuine attempt to get real feedback on Services and features. |

I guess it's a bit device specific. I did it again, this time for a Go700 and it didn't give me those questions. It still didn't close the window. _________________ Dennis

It gave me a chance to say that their new maps with extra features ( extra grass and trees ) changed my device from 42 countries ( sold as ) to about 15. |

Yes that's what I'd complain about too. My device came with 2GB internal memory when it obviously needed 4GB. No SD card slot means when I updated the maps for the first time it cant hold all the info!
Really mindless and disrespectful of TomTom to sell products like this. |
