|
|
I am running CheckPOInt 3.2 and TTN 3 with wired GPS on an iPAQ H2210 and Windows Pocket PC 2003 Premium Edition.
It all works fine (most of the time!). However, I am unable to allocate a Button to CheckPOInts Record POI facility in order to record the location of cameras.
Within CheckPOInt's General Settings, I have allocated Button 3 - Calendar for Recording a POI and in TTN3 Properties, the buttons are all set to <Default function>.
However, whenever I press the Calendar button, guess what, Outlook's Calendar pops up! Whatever I do, I just can't persuade the Record POI menu to pop-up. There does not appear to be any other way of making this menu appear either.
Any ideas? |

I had this problem, try using the contacts button instead as that one worked for me. |

anyone else have this or a idea ;) | Firstly, the button only works when you are in Navigator mode, and you have a GPS signal, but assuming you have both of these correct, try the following:
In the PPC itself, assign a hardware button to CheckPOInt (I use button 1, but I guess it should work with any) - then use this same button within CheckPOInt for recording POIs. This works for me. |

Wayhay , works for a run down (must be here somewhere all this info )
Seems to only work under the following conditions on a XDA II
Gps connected and runing with GOOD data (anything else is pointless)
only works on CONTACTS button, ignore numbering in Checkpoint
Dont need to disable any STANDARD button controls
Cheers swing for pointing me in right direction ;) |
