Ok so I know all about map zones. However when you are on a bike using a TT Urban the full Western Europe map will not fit into memory now!!!
As I do not carry a lap top with me when touring, what do I do?
Just asked TT customer support who are going to look into this and let me know next week.
Good work TT how to make a good unit poor in one map update.
Ride safe

This demonstrates perfectly the short-sightedness of TomTom's decision to use zoned maps rather than:
1. make their hardware properly expandable with a memory card slot, or
2. provide enough fixed memory for likely enlargements of the mapping. |

What happened to the (really) old addage to always fit at least twice the amount of RAM than you can see what's likely to be the requirement in the future. After all, 8Gb ram on a micro SD is only 15x11x1, so space cannot be the issue Good 'ole TT |
