I have just bought a kenwood dnx9260bt, After reading other kenwood threads I have learned to install the speedcamera database and the POI on dnx9260bt but I have tried unsucessfull to get the sound to speech working on that particular receiver.
Put together the mp3 files, the speed camera and the POI into the same folder, when the loader trys to combine into one file, I get the error message "windows cannot find (C\:\garmin\sox.exe) make sure you have typed the name correctly and try again. I get few errors but it still gives me poi.gpi file. after downloading it to head unit shows the speedcameras and the post of interests only Sad no voice activated. I have tried so many times without joy Embarassed
What am I exactly doing wrong? Is anyone here with the same unit has made it working?
Please help?

Try a search for sox.exe in these forums. I'm not a Garmin expert but this has been discussed before.

You also need to convert the files to mono wav format first too... sox.exe is only used when the unit doesn't support mp3 format files.
